| We worked on mudding until we couldn't anymore, then we got in our car and drove off to Portland for the Cheese Society meeting. It was so fun! The hotel was right downtown and we had a corner room with a view both ways. Mari and Ed got us invited to dinner with some of their old friends in the city, what a sweet little city. We had a great time, then we drove up to the Super 8 by Seatac and stayed the night before our flight to Chicago. Last time on Albany Street for us! |

We got back to the island to find a lot of priming finished, so we painted our bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The bedroom has one dark green wall, the rest of the walls are Madrona green. |
| The bathroom is a little more purple than gray, but I've decided it's gorgeous. Jonee likes it too. |

Here's how the strip of pebbles against the limestone looks with that wall. |
| So much to do. |

The living room is that great Madrona green, but the kitchen is the color of the bark. That box is the teak bathtub. It's sitting on the outside deck now, waiting for the tile in the upstairs bath to be laid. |
| Here's the kitchen wall. We love this color. |

My art project. I know how to do this now. It won't be so bad in the powder room. |
| Jim and Hawk put the teak floor in, Jonee painted and I worked on my pebble mosaic. . |
