Another dramatic sky over Montepulciano. We got up early today to drive to Chiusi (about half an hour away) because Tuesday is their market day. After about an hour of driving around, we finally found it. Basically, a flea market and two vegetable stands. We bought some beautiful zucchini and a melon, and then went to the coop to get groceries. The rest of the day, we just hung out. Then we all went out to dinner at a great restaurant in Montepulciano. I had sage and butter ravioli and grilled lamb, Hawk had pico spaghetti (hand rolled irregular thick spaghetti) with cheese and veal parmagiano. Delicious. Then we had vin santo and biscotti for dessert and came home to watch the meteor shower. Except Hawk and I could only crane our necks for about 5 minutes, so we went to bed.
