| Here's the house. Um. What can we say? It's actually better than the website told us it would be. We all just about fell over when we got here. All of the bedrooms have their own baths. No showers, but we can adjust. The beds are comfortable. Everywhere we look is beautiful! |

Haley and I and Hawk went for a walk on the road behind the house, which was a single car dirt lane. It went through hidden fields of new corn and beautiful linden trees, about to throw their seeds. |
| Ray spent a lot of the day studying for his prelims. Or possibly im-ing. Google talk was happening too. Could be he was checking out what was going on online, also. |

| We had lunch out there in the sun. Chevres and camembert from the Sarlat market, foie gras, rillettes, baguettes, cornichon, fresh beans. So delicious. And coke. |

| Ray and Liam found a lizard that caught a worm. Here's the shot Hawk got of that. We thought the lizards were really interesting seven years ago in Agen, but I'm not that thrilled about this picture. |

Everyone went swimming. The pool is heated and has a cover, it also has these beautiful blue urns that spill water into it. |

We cooked hamburgers for dinner outside. It was warmer than yesterday, so we ate outside and then hung out until about 9:30. It was still light. |

I got Peter to make the Peter face. We had armagnac and cigars (which were wet and moldy, dammit) after dinner, and then Ray made us crepes. We had them with fresh strawberries from the Sarlat market and leftover creme anglaise. |
