| We really relaxed today. Paisley gave me and Kit manicures while we watched "Love, Actually" on my computer. |

Ray's snack. Leftover slices of grilled magret and potatoes mashed with duck fat. |
| Liam holds three monkeys on his back. |

Liam demonstrates his French. Can you guess what he's saying? |
| We went to the Sarlat market and got a whole salmon, cockles, shrimp and scallops with roe. Then Hawk and I filleted the salmon and made fish stock and then I made cioppino, one of my best ever. All that seafood went in. And the cans of tomato sauce had pop top lids, so no can opener. Yay! We just finished eating when Jim and Jonee rolled in with this adorable little chartreuse car they rented in Brive. |

Jim and Jonee joined the party. |
| We had armagnac, fruit, cheese, walnut cake and strawberries in the living room after dinner. |

A sunset after the rain and thunderstorms we've been having all night and day. The promise is partly sunny and mid seventies today, then sunny and hot starting Friday. Can't wait to sit around that pool. |
| Peter starts his day with an exercise swim in the pool. It's a little too warm for him. |
