| Today Jonee and Paisley and I drove to Limoges to UPS Haley and Liam's Raynaud china, but when we got there, we decided to pack it and check it on the plane instead. $1000 for 4 boxes was way over the top! We're never buying anything at Raynaud again, no matter how cool! We got back at 6:30, but we still beat Peter and Hawk and Cora and Morgan, who went to Agen and to Lan to get armagnac. While we waited for them, Liam butchered the rabbits. We got these rabbits at the Sarlat market on Saturday, they were whole. Skinless, but everything else. If you want to see what Liam did, you can click here, but not everyone is going to want to do that. I braised the rabbit with shallots, wine and prunes. Liam grilled potatoes and Jim roasted asparagus and we got another one of Kit's great salads. But no pruneaux d'Agen for dessert. Hawk forgot. |
