| We got up early and took Cora and Morgan to our local Boulangerie to get croissants, 7 regular and 5 with chocolate. On the way out, we ran into Graham, who was also there to get croissants. Instead, he brought home this gorgeous epi. |

Then we all went to a walnut oil factory. The tour showed us walnuts being ground into a paste with this ancient machinery -- a small water wheel that powered a granite wheel over a marble table. Once the walnuts were paste, they were scraped into a big stone bowl over a wood fire, which was stirred by the water wheel too. Once it got hot, the paste was put into burlap in a wooden box over a metal bucket, wooden blocks were set on top, and then the water wheel powered a press. Very cool. Morgan liked the water wheel the best. After we got back, Morgan showed us that he can really swim. |

Then Morgan got the haircut that Jim had been promising all week. |
| And the Madisons left for Bordeaux. Aargh! The party is ending! |

| But not quite yet. Jonee and Jim and Hawk and I went to Sarlat and I bought another beautiful purse. Jonee says it's all about the accessories. | The whole group took us out to dinner at the best restaurant in Sarlat. Just before we got there, the sun came out and it was beautiful. We got to sit outside. We ate and ate. You know. Then we got back and I had my cuban cigar, a really good one. What a great trip! |
