Santorini, Greece

We found a great private deck on the aft of the boat. Great wicker chairs and cushions, nobody there. We sat there and read with glasses of scotch and ice while we took our last look at Santorini. Then we went to dinner at the Japanese restaurant at 7, but we had the reservation messed up, so we didn't end up there. Instead we went to the main dining room an hour late, but we got to sit by ourselves in there at a table for two. That might have been better than eating at Silk Road anyway!
This morning we saw lightning before we got up, and we woke to cloudy skies. How great for it to be cloudy and rainy on an "at sea" day! At breakfast, we made friends with this darling Vancouver threesome that we keep running into, and then we did six turns around the boat. We had charged our computer batteries overnight, so we spent a couple of hours in the mostly deserted Palm Court (our favorite place on the boat, all the way forward at the top, all windows).
The rain came down in sheets, you can see it there on the windows. It rained so hard that it came in under the bottom of the windows. But it's over now.
Tonight is the Captain's Party and it's our last formal night. I'm wearing Paisley's long black Jessica McClintock dress with a new top I bought in the dress shop aboard. We will sit with our group of friends for the last time tonight.
