We had to go off island on Tuesday to get more pergo for the downstairs. Taine picked exactly the right stuff for upstairs, it is really beautiful and you can see why the name brand costs more. You can't see the lines between the floorboards, it really looks real. We also bought another sink and an electric stove, which we will probably return after our appraisal. The best part of the off island trip was getting shunted to the center row (first off the ferry!!!) both times because of the cute little spear our bike rack makes. We had to put it there for the freezer, and we just didn't return it. Maybe we won't ever... |

| Haley spent the day with us, so cute. She played with the cats, who slept all day. She and I explored tide pools and followed deer trails, what a delicious little pleasure she is! Sweet, bright, funny, talks constantly. Totally adorable. |

 | The kitties did really well, except for a short episode where Sage actually thought he would like to be outside. Pearl waited for him under the bed. He walked around the house, tried to eat a fern, and then went into Hawk's arms. Gratefully. |
| Meanwhile, Taine and Holly finished the floor and all the trim around the windows downstairs. Thursday we texture drywall and paint, Friday we install plumbing and the WASHER AND DRYER!!!! Yay! No more Roche Harbor laundry! No more dishes in the sink!!! | |
