| We flew into Seattle Juneau on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, and took a cab from the airport to Kirkland ($60!), where we met Paisley and Peter for dinner. It was really a fun place, we had those cool Brazilian drinks and tapas. We slept on a new blowup mattress that Peter bought, Paisley was really annoyed that it had a foot pump instead of an electric pump. It only took a little longer to blow up, once we figured out which hole to put the tubes in. Click on the picture to see Peter pumping. Just ignore the noise. Peter and Hawk did. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to make it vertical! |

Once we cleared the underbrush and a bunch of the trees, Paisley and Peter set cedar 4 by 4s for the new fence. It will be so beautiful with a cedar lattice. |
| Then we started painting. Paisley picked this gorgeous blue. Morgan helped with the roller, except he kept stealing my long pole. |

The blue is really great with the existing brown trim, which they will leave. But they are thinking they'll paint the doors a really shiny dark blue. Kind of like my new miata! |
| Paisley helped me buy it, she got me a Labor Day Special deal. It's a 2007, so beautiful, and I had to leave it in Kirkland yesterday. We'll drive it to the island on the 15th, where I have a very good cover waiting for it. No way will it fit in the garage for a while. |
