March 2006

Just one more picture in our Chicago apartment of Haley and little Charlie.
Okay, here's how the house looks. Taine did a little siding yesterday, but he didn't come today except to drop off shingles for staining. He'll be back tomorrow when more siding is ready to go up.
Another shot of the house.
Look how beautifully Taine does details. This is the cieling of the entryway.
Hawk complaining about building racks for staining. We had a series of difficult talks about this...
But then later that day, it was so mild we moved our oysters and drinks down to the cocktail table by the water and watched the sunset. It's so beautiful here.
Another shot of Hawk opening oystes that lets you see the house from the water side.
Peter and Cora and Morgan arrived last night on the little Kenmore air plane.
They climbed down the steps and then they saw us. They jumped in Bob's Taxi and we followed them. We put Cora to bed in Paisley's crib in a room we set up in the garage. Morgan slept in Peter's bed upstairs, and we had rib eyes and baked potatoes when Andy came on the 5:15 ferry.
Cora looks at me from between cushions on our chairs.
And from over the top. I bought them a whole box of toy surprises for playing with over the next few days. So far, we are just reading books and playing trains.
Morgan makes a sweet face.
Morgan delivers his picture grin. He's so sweet!
