| Finally, the big weekend that we've been working for all year! Natalie, Jonee and Connie arrived on the 4:00 flight from Seatac. It was beautiful when they arrived, but it got gray and rainy for the rest of the weekend. We built fires and read and hung out in our beautiful great room, watching for whales and other sea life. That's Natalie over there on the windowseat. She was our wildlife spotter. |

We had massages at the Lavender Day Spa on Sunday, and we ate braised lamb shanks. The next day, Hawk returned early to open oysters for our lunch, and just as we finished, the whales arrived. Natalie left too early to see them, but Jonee and Connie watched from the deck. |
| Haliam and Charlie arrived that night, and we played with Charlie and worked on the house all week. Liam is so sweet with that baby. |

Paisley and Peter and Mo and Matt arrived for Haley's birthday weekend and we had a big 3-day party. |

We got a lot of the pantry done before we left, Hawk hooked up his oven himself and he mounted the pantry shelves on the wall. |
| When Dennis and Jennifer arrived on Tuesday, they helped us make this sink counter for the powder room. Dennis cut out the mahogany supports to match our eave knotches and he's going to send us plugs soon. Jennifer and I tiled and grouted the bathroom walls and floor. They were so great! Hawk and I finished putting limestone around all the windows after they left. |
