It has been so great here, right downtown. We love walking to shops and restaurants and taking the el everywhere. We hate to say goodbye. |
| The apartment is perfect, and we love our little livingroom. We'll take some of the furniture to Madison, but most will go to San Juan Island. |

The kitchen is small but open and perfectly functional. We shop at Whole Foods (3 blocks) or Fox & Obel (10 blocks). You can buy anything (except foie gras). |

Peter shaved his hair all off after Eli did, and so we got Hawk too. I actually did it, doesn't it look great? Hawk is telling me here to wait to post the website so he can surprise everyone with his cool new look. |

It's been over 100 each day since we got here, but the clouds came in yesterday and brought us a light show. We were afraid it was going to be dry rain, where it's so hot and dry that the rain evaporates before it can hit the ground. |
